The use of drugs is more in the geriatrics as they suffer from more disease conditions. Drug use in Geriatrics may involve unnecessary medications and inappropriate drug combinations with numerous consequences. So there is great concern about the geriatric health in this century. Identifying the consequences of Poly pharmacy and determining its extent in the Geriatric patients will help minimize these outcomes & improve their quality of life.
