Maintaining the quality of life and health of the Geriatric patients is one of the major challenges faced by the health care system today. The use of drugs is more in the geriatrics as they suffer from more disease conditions. Drug use in Geriatrics may involve unnecessary medications and inappropriate drug combinations with numerous consequences. So there is great concern about the geriatric health in this century. Identifying the consequences of Poly pharmacy and determining its extent in the Geriatric patients will help minimize these outcomes & improve their quality of life. This review article explains the Clinical outcomes to Geriatric patients due to Poly Pharmacy.
